Crossdressing?

GTA online makes some jokes and references about this, obviously at the expense of non binaries and/or fetishists. I'm not one of those people that takes offense to this, and I actually enjoy and appreciate a lot of rockstar's humor. But, can this be a thing? I wear ladies' clothing on occasion, I don't really care what people think or say. And I think not only would this be a simple thing for rockstar to implement, but it may also net them a few more shark card purchases, thanks to how expensive a lot of the clothing is. The completionists that want to own every item, the trolls and jokesters trying to be as ridiculous or unique as they can be, and just the normal people that want a few more options, or genuinely prefer the style. I think all of these groups would welcome the addition. It's just something to think about.

Original Grand Theft Auto

Inspired by the new troubles with 5 and seeing that 4 now works I wanted to see why the original GTA on Steam doesn't work with Proton.
The settings exe requires MFC42 which is easy enough to install to the prefix.
The main issue is an error about not finding the first data file it looks for. The game binary is in a parallel folder to the data files and is looking for them in '../gtadata', however Steamplay is likely running Proton with the full path of the game binary rather than running it from the folder it is in.
Any ideas about how to get it to run Proton as if you are inside the binary's folder? I know GTA isn't available to buy on Steam any more and the free legal download works with Wine but I'm sure there will be more games with a similar problem.
EDIT: This seems to work, it's possibly not the most concise it can be but I've spent far too much time on it already ;) Add the following line to the launch options.
command=$(echo %command%) && s="waitforexitandrun " && path=${command#*$s} && path="$(dirname "$path")" && cd "$path" && PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command% 
It basically grabs the full command, takes the path to the game binary, gets the directory it's in and 'cd's into it before running the full launch command as usual.
Unfortunately this gets me to the menu but it crashes when I start a game... d9vk fixed that. One last thing it won't exit nicely.

I tried accumulating the most interesting bits from the previews.

I tried accumulating all the most interesting bits of information and I tried to label as much of it as I could. (gunplay, hud, etc) some stuff is hard to narrow down to one label.
This is going to be a huge post even with just taking bits of each, I fully recommend reading them all if you get the chance, there's a lot of very interesting stuff that I could never fit it all. Each one has info the others don't elaborate on as much. Each also describes the graphics in detail.
I may have missed some details or made some mistakes copying it over since I'm on mobile.
Hope yall find it as interesting as I do.

Gunplay "The gunplay in Red Dead Redemption 2 brings back some familiar elements, while at the same time widening the depth on slinging lead. First off, the Dead Eye Mechanic is back; players can slow the action down and paint targets with crosses in a short window of time, before loosing a volley of shots with pinpoint accuracy.
Second, players can also ‘fan’ their six-shooter’s firing pin, quickly emptying the gun’s revolving cylinder in a rapid-fire move that causes a ton of damage. MAME 0.196

MAME 0.196, our March release, is here just in time for Easter, and it’s packed with all the goodness you’ve come to expect. In a very exciting development, Team Caps0ff have extracted the C-chip data for Volfied, Superman, Rainbow Islands, and most importantly, Bonze Adventure. This cleanly fixes some of the most long-standing emulation issues in MAME. The improvements to Sega Model 2 have continued, with Virtua Fighter 2 and Motor Raid now considered working. Other Model 2 games are greatly improved as well.
For fans of 8-bit home computers, MAME 0.196 has improved ZX Spectrum family emulation, fixing many graphical glitches. A QuikLoad option has been added to several CP/M-80 machines, allowing .COM files to be loaded directly after the operating system has booted. Emulated IEEE-488 (GPIB) can now be tunnelled over sockets, opening up the possibility to simulate peripherals outside MAME. Interpro progress has continued, and is now at the point where you can boot the rebuild floppy.
Other new working arcade games include Big Buck Hunter, an older joystick-controlled version of Ghox, and a rare unprotected version of Opa Opa. With some fixes to our vector maths, War: The Final Assault is working, and Gunpey has been made playable using decompressed sprite data extracted from a working board. New LCD hand-helds include Dennis the Menace, Double Dragon 3, Jurassic Park, Spider-Man, The Addams Family, The Flash, and X-Men - Project X.
In an emulation first, MAME 0.196 supports QSound DSP emulation. For now, it’s only enabled for the vgmplay driver by default, and it requires a fairly fast computer to emulate at full speed. It will be enabled by default when system requirements are a bit more modest. The SH-4 recompiler has been enabled by default for Dreamcast-derived systems, giving substantial performance improvements.
Of course, there are plenty of other improvements. As always, source and Windows binaries are available from the download page.

Are thinkpiecewriters misinterpreting Cyberpunk 2077´s intentions ?

I refer to this article by eurogamer called "Saving Punk from Cyberpunk" (https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-09-25-saving-punk-from-cyberpunk) which is a deepdive into Cyberpunk themes and how they relate to Cyberpunk 2077. Without much going on besides a good look at gameplay and trailers, my reading of thinkpieces like this are that the writers are misinterpreting the intentions the game might do and allmost demand that the game is more in line of Transgressive, Anarchist Cyberpunk literature than a "GTA in the Future" as some of us expected. One of the more odd moments in the Article is how it describes the first teaser of Cyberpunk 2077 as "in which men with exaggerated eye prosthetics fire giant phallic weapons at a scantily-clad cyborg lady, bullets splattering across her cheekbones in slow motion", but I do not want to write the Article off as virtue signaling or SJW how some clickbait commentators might say, just misinterpreting what Cyberpunk 2077 will be about.
Having watched and read about the Boardgame, Cyberpunk 2077´s greatest flaw might be the name, Cyberpunk.
Since the game revolves more about Streetgangs, Crime and is more about the Aesthetical aspects of Cyberpunk in relation to Coolness and Streetcredit, we do not know if the game will have the following themes on a deeper level: -Transsexualism related to modifying your body however you want -LGBT themes in the future and how that relates to individualism (I saw some people complain about Man/Woman in the WIP showcase not having a Non-Binary option, which is a fair point) -Anti Capitalist/Government attitudes (Tho we have seen Hackers disrupt seemingly corperate and governmental operations multiple times, hinting at a greater scope of our missions besides streetlevel)
The article also showcased how so far we have only really seen changes in our character on a more mechanics based focused like fighting and hacking and not really on a more human level how it might change us in relation to gendernorms.
I think CD Project Red has to walk a particulary thin line to bring a solid Shooter RPG but not forget or ignore literally everything Cyberpunk was about besides the Aesthetic, tho I am hopeful which brings me back to the question of this title.
Are these kind of discussions misinterpreting what the game is trying to be or could it be that we just haven´t seen enough of the game to also dismiss these discussions ?
Because the intentions might just be to be a Futuristic Shooter or a faithful adaptation of Cyberpunk culture and themes in the mold of a RPG Shooter.
I think CD Project Red has been a bit too safe not showcasing the more extreme aspects of Punk culture coming from Cyberpunk like heavy LGBT themes etc. most likely not to upset or downturn people, tho people that expect these kinds of things to be more prevelant in the game might also be turned down by the lack of said themes.
So what is YOUR opinion on the matter ? Just some rambling from writers or good critique over how the game has been presented thus far ?

Last year 2201 of you filled out the survey, this year the number has more than 2x that amount. Thanks you guys for participating and some of you for sharing (forsakenvow and anyone else). Also thanks for the feedback and guiding me with respect to some of the questions.
The results below could be a good indicator for the sub as a whole, I've outlined the major percentages.

Q1.01: What is your age range?

51.2% are between 20-24 27.0% are between 15-19 16.7% are between 25-29 03.8% are between 30-34 
Not that surprising, since Funhaus has said they skew older. Some groups might be underestimated/overestimated because of a couple of trolls.

Q1.02: Gender

87.7% are Male 9.20% are Female 0.80% are Transgender 0.80% are Non Binary 1.20% are other 
Again, not much of a surprise here. From last year, it seems like a decrease in female percentage (10.3% last year).

Q1.03: Sexuality

83.4% are Straight 10.2% are Bisexual 02.6% are Homosexual 02.3% are Other 01.5% are Queer 
Last year we had 2.1% of respondents being homosexual. Maybe James "Alpha Gay" Willems had an effect on the population. Also there are more people answering as Bisexual than last year.

Not a surprise, this sub loves the openhaus and demo disk. The numbers got weird here, I guess some people used this to pick their 2nd fav like they did last year. Also, Elyse lost her lead because I guess between the two, a lot of her votes went to the more feminine one (kidding! love you Joel). Pretty much a decrease in everyone due to nostalgia. Seems like people also missed Joel more than Spoole (4.6%).

Crashing on callout, no other plugins

I have recently downloaded 0.4 and installed it into my steam copy of GTA V using the automated setup. I have the most updated version of RPH, GTA V, and LSPDFR. I am able to load the plugin and go on duty at a police station without issue. However, after several minutes, I hear the dispatch beep and my screen starts to freeze and stutter before I am able to hit Y to accept the callout. The game then exits to windows and advises me that a crash has occured and RPH provides the option for a crash log. I do not have any additional plugins other than LSPDFR 0.4 at this time and have never played 0.3 so I have no associated plugins of that version either. I have deleted and reinstalled both GTA-V and LSPDFR several times with the issue persisting. I have added both to my antivirus exception list and have even run them without the anti-virus program and still receive a crash log. I have uploaded my most recent crash log along with this posting. If it helps at all I am running an i7-8700k with 16GB RAM (2x8GB) and a GTX 1080 mini. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MAME 0.196, our March release, is here just in time for Easter, and it’s packed with all the goodness you’ve come to expect. In a very exciting development, Team Caps0ff have extracted the C-chip data for Volfied, Superman, Rainbow Islands, and most importantly, Bonze Adventure. This cleanly fixes some of the most long-standing emulation issues in MAME. The improvements to Sega Model 2 have continued, with Virtua Fighter 2 and Motor Raid now considered working. Other Model 2 games are greatly improved as well.
For fans of 8-bit home computers, MAME 0.196 has improved ZX Spectrum family emulation, fixing many graphical glitches. A QuikLoad option has been added to several CP/M-80 machines, allowing .COM files to be loaded directly after the operating system has booted. Emulated IEEE-488 (GPIB) can now be tunnelled over sockets, opening up the possibility to simulate peripherals outside MAME. Interpro progress has continued, and is now at the point where you can boot the rebuild floppy.
Other new working arcade games include Big Buck Hunter, an older joystick-controlled version of Ghox, and a rare unprotected version of Opa Opa. With some fixes to our vector maths, War: The Final Assault is working, and Gunpey has been made playable using decompressed sprite data extracted from a working board. New LCD hand-helds include Dennis the Menace, Double Dragon 3, Jurassic Park, Spider-Man, The Addams Family, The Flash, and X-Men - Project X.
In an emulation first, MAME 0.196 supports QSound DSP emulation. For now, it’s only enabled for the vgmplay driver by default, and it requires a fairly fast computer to emulate at full speed. It will be enabled by default when system requirements are a bit more modest. The SH-4 recompiler has been enabled by default for Dreamcast-derived systems, giving substantial performance improvements.
Of course, there are plenty of other improvements. As always, source and Windows binaries are available from the download page.
